What gives this design its character

Color in layers

Pink and yellow draping sits against a darker teal center. The white sofa breaks up the saturated color and keeps the seating easy to distinguish.

Detail above and below

Garlands and small hanging ornaments occupy the upper frame. Cushions, a patterned rug and low decorative accents extend the design in front of the sofa.
