Quotes & booking. Website prices, calculators, and package figures are estimates for planning purposes; your final quote is the written proposal we send you. A signed agreement and retainer secure your date. Dates are not held without a retainer.
Payments & cancellation. Payment schedules, cancellation windows, and refund terms are stated in your individual service agreement, which controls over anything on this website.
Our work & your venue. We set up and remove all décor within the windows your venue allows. Clients are responsible for confirming venue rules (open flame, wall attachments, load-in times); we will gladly coordinate with your venue directly.
Photography. We may photograph our completed installations for our portfolio and social media. If you prefer your event not be shown, tell us in writing and we will honor it.
Website content. All text, images, and designs on this site are the property of Events By Maryam and may not be reproduced without permission. Website content is provided as-is; we make reasonable efforts to keep information current but do not guarantee it is error-free.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Franklin County, Ohio.

Is the website price my final price?
Website figures are planning estimates. Your final price is the written quote we prepare for your specific event, venue, and design.
How do I secure my date?
A signed agreement and retainer hold your date. We recommend booking 2-6 months ahead for weddings and 2-4 weeks for smaller events.
Can you work with my venue's rules?
Yes - we coordinate directly with venues on load-in times, attachment rules, and open-flame policies. It's part of the service.
