Columbus and Ohio are home to a thriving Indian American community, with cultural organizations, Hindu temples like the Jain Center of Central Ohio and Hindu temples in the greater Columbus area, and a growing number of families celebrating traditional Indian weddings right here in the Midwest. Events By Maryam has become a trusted partner for Indian families seeking luxury wedding décor that truly understands the cultural significance of each ceremony.
We specialize in creating elaborate Mandap structures — the four-pillared canopy that serves as the sacred space for Hindu wedding ceremonies. Whether you envision a traditional Mandap adorned with marigold garlands, jasmine strings, and draped fabrics, or a contemporary design with acrylic pillars, cascading orchids, and integrated LED lighting, we build each structure to be both beautiful and meaningful. Our team also designs décor for Sikh Anand Karaj ceremonies, South Indian wedding traditions, and fusion celebrations that blend multiple cultural elements.
From hotel ballrooms and banquet halls to outdoor garden venues across Ohio, we design settings that rival the most elaborate celebrations in Mumbai or Delhi. Our attention to detail — from the garland-draped entrance for the Baraat procession to the last centerpiece at the reception — ensures your Indian wedding is everything you've dreamed.

Why Indian Families in Ohio Trust Us
Indian weddings are among the most design-intensive celebrations we do — and we love every moment. Events By Maryam brings both artistic vision and cultural understanding to every Indian wedding. We know that the Mandap isn't just a stage — it's a sacred space. We understand that Sangeet décor should feel like a party while the ceremony space should feel spiritual. This cultural sensitivity, combined with our luxury design capabilities, is why Indian families across Ohio choose us.
Our process begins with a detailed consultation where we learn about your specific traditions, regional customs, color preferences, and venue details. We create custom concept boards for each ceremony and work with you to refine every element. On event day, our team handles complete setup, styling, and teardown — coordinating with your pandit, caterer, photographer, and DJ to ensure everything flows perfectly. With 4.9★ average across 60+ Google reviews and a portfolio of stunning Indian weddings, we deliver the quality and reliability your celebration deserves.

Stage or focal setup plus dressed guest tables for a single reception. Mandap structures are custom quoted separately based on the ceremony and venue requirements.
Premium

Upgraded stage, entrance, sweetheart, and fuller centerpieces — the band most mid-size Indian receptions choose.
Luxury
$7,000–$15,000+
Full venue transformation — flower walls, ceiling draping, premium florals. Multi-day Sangeet, Mehndi, Mandap and reception weekends are quoted together.
Mandap pricing depends on the structure and florals; share your venue and guest count on the inquiry form — we will return a dated design note. Also see South Asian venues in Columbus and Indian multi-day packages.
Give Each Event Its Own Brief
- Haldi, Mehndi or Sangeet: confirm floor seating, performance space, outfit colors and the area available for a backdrop. Explore the Marigold Mehndi Jali design for textile and foreground choices.
- Ceremony: agree on the officiant’s layout, family seating and venue rules before choosing a structure. The Hindu mandap page covers those questions.
- Reception: decide how much of the design belongs at the couple’s stage and how much on guest tables. Compare the Blush & Gold Jali Stage with the Dusty Blue Ballroom for different ways to connect the room.
These portfolio examples illustrate design choices; they are not a fixed package or a promise of availability. Share every event’s venue and access window for a multi-day quote.
