From the sacred simplicity of the Anand Karaj to the full-volume joy of the Jaggo and reception, we design every event of a Punjabi Sikh wedding with the respect and energy each one deserves.
Get a Free QuoteA Sikh wedding balances two worlds beautifully: the solemn, sacred Anand Karaj in the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, and the exuberant celebrations that surround it — the Jaggo night with its decorated pots and dancing, the Sangeet, the Milni where families formally meet, and a reception that Punjabi families rightly expect to be the party of the year.
Events By Maryam designs for both. For the Anand Karaj, we work respectfully within gurdwara guidelines — elegant floral work around the ceremony space as permitted, aisle and entrance styling, and decor that honors the sanctity of the occasion. We coordinate directly with gurdwara management in the Columbus and Dublin area so every element is appropriate and approved before the wedding day.
Then, for the reception, we let loose: dramatic stages, fresh floral installations, luxury drapery, and layouts with a dance floor big enough for bhangra until the lights come on. We also design Jaggo props, Sangeet staging, and Haldi setups as part of multi-day packages — see our Haldi & Sangeet services.

How much does Sikh wedding decoration cost in Columbus?
Sikh wedding decor in Columbus typically ranges from $2,000 to $7,500 across the full celebration. Anand Karaj florals and gurdwara-appropriate styling usually run $800-$2,000, while reception packages with stage, drapery, and centerpieces range $2,500-$6,000. Multi-event packages covering Jaggo, Sangeet, ceremony, and reception offer the best value. Contact us for a free quote.
Can you decorate inside a gurdwara?
Yes, within each gurdwara's guidelines. We coordinate with gurdwara management in advance so all decor around the ceremony space is respectful and approved - florals, aisle styling, and entrance elements that honor the sanctity of the Anand Karaj.
Do you design Jaggo and Sangeet nights?
Absolutely - decorated Jaggo pots, vibrant staging, low seating, and lighting built for a night of singing and dancing. These pair naturally with our Mehndi and Haldi setups in multi-day packages.
Do you serve Sikh families outside Columbus?
Yes. We serve Punjabi Sikh families across central Ohio and travel up to two hours from Columbus, including Dayton, Cincinnati, and Cleveland.
