Graduation Party Décor That Honors the Achievement
Graduation is one of life's biggest moments — years of hard work, late nights, and determination all culminating in a single celebration. The décor should match the magnitude of that achievement. Events By Maryam designs graduation parties that feel personal, festive, and absolutely photo-worthy.
Columbus is a college town at heart. With Ohio State University drawing thousands of graduates every May, and dozens of other institutions — Capital University, Columbus State, Otterbein, Ohio Dominican, Franklin University — plus hundreds of high school seniors celebrating across Franklin, Delaware, and Licking counties, graduation season here is a big deal. We design graduation parties for families from every background — South Asian families who go all out with 100+ guests and full venue setups, Somali and West African families who throw vibrant, joyful community celebrations, and American families who prefer chic backyard gatherings with personalized touches.
The great thing about graduation décor is how personal it can be. School colors as the palette. The grad's name in lights. Custom balloon arrangements spelling out "Class of 2026." A stunning photo backdrop that becomes the centerpiece of the entire celebration. We've done it all — from living room setups for intimate family dinners to full venue transformations at event centers like Mill Run Event Center in Hilliard.
Whatever scale you're envisioning, we bring the same level of care and craft. Your graduate deserves to walk into a room that says: this moment matters. Let us build that room for you.
